We offer comprehensive testing for student placement in Reading, Writing, and Math classes, as well as GED testing on-campus and at local correctional institutions. Skagit Valley College provides a proctored testing environment for correspondence students, including Central's Correspondence and Distance Learning program.
Skagit Valley College offers the GED test to provide individuals with a certificate of competency in lieu of a High School diploma. The exam measures skills required by high schools, and requested by colleges and employers, in the following four subject areas: Science, Social Studies, Mathematical Reasoning, and Language Arts (Reading/Literature or Writing/English).
