Higher Education Tax Information

(2022 Tax Year) - Updated 1/25/2023

The following information is provided to help you determine whether the tuition and fees you have paid qualify for higher education tax credits for the 2022 tax year. Every effort has been made to correctly select the amounts that apply for the tax credits. However, you may want to consult with a tax advisor to ensure the courses and payments identified comply with IRS requirements.

Note:
Payments received for Winter quarter 2022 that were paid prior to January 1, 2022 , and payments received for Fall quarter 2022 that were paid after December 31, 2022 , may not qualify for the 2022 tax year. The payment summary/detail should only be used to supplement your 1098-T tax document that you receive in the mail or receive electronically in ctcLink, this should not be used in place of your 1098-T.  The information on your 1098-T is what was submitted to the IRS.

Using ctcLink to View your 1098-T and Payment Detail Report

To view your 1098-T and payment detail report, you will need to know your ctcLink ID and password. If you have not activated your ctcLink account , you will need to do that first.
